The finish matters. What sits behind it matters more

A lasting shower renovation is not new tiles or sealant over an old problem. We completely strip the existing shower back to the timber framing, inspect and repair the exposed structure where required, then rebuild the wet area through every construction stage.

Installation of agreed tiles, niche, shower fittings and frameless or semi-frameless glass.

From start to finish

Your shower renovation journey

Every home is different, but a well-managed renovation generally follows this sequence. Your quote confirms the exact work required for your property.

  1. Assess & measure stage of a shower renovation in Brisbane
    Step 1

    Assess & measure

We inspect the existing shower, check visible signs of moisture, discuss access and style goals, and measure for the new layout and screen.

  2. Protect & strip out stage of a shower renovation in Brisbane
    Step 2

    Protect & strip out

The old screen, fittings, tiles and failed linings are removed so framing, plumbing and substrates can be properly inspected.

  3. Repair & rough-in stage of a shower renovation in Brisbane
    Step 3

    Repair & rough-in

Framing is checked and repaired where required, then plumbing and niche supports are set out for the agreed level-entry design.

  4. Sheet & form falls stage of a shower renovation in Brisbane
    Step 4

    Sheet & form falls

Wet-area fibre-cement sheeting is installed and subtle drainage falls are formed within the flush shower floor, with no raised tray or curb.

  5. Waterproof & check stage of a shower renovation in Brisbane
    Step 5

    Waterproof & check

A compliant membrane is applied continuously across the level-entry floor, walls, niche, junctions and penetrations, then checked before tiling.

  6. Tile, glaze & fit off stage of a shower renovation in Brisbane
    Step 6

    Tile, glaze & fit off

Tiles, grout, fittings and frameless glass are installed over the flush floor, then sealed, tested and cleaned ready for handover.

Can you renovate only the shower area?

Yes, subject to our current workload, but it must be a complete shower renovation. We strip the shower back to the timber framing and rebuild the substrates, falls, waterproofing, tiling, fittings and glass. We do not undertake isolated leak repairs, screen-only replacements or other small shower jobs. Complete bathroom renovations remain our primary focus, so shower-only projects may need to be scheduled for a later date during busy periods.

Do you repair leaking showers or replace shower screens only?

No. We do not provide leak patching, regrouting, silicone repairs, isolated tile repairs or screen-only replacement as standalone services. If a leaking shower requires a complete strip-out and rebuild from the timber framing, we can assess it as a full shower renovation.

Will new tiles fix a leaking shower?

Not necessarily. Leaks often relate to failed waterproofing, movement, drainage or penetrations behind the visible finish. A proper assessment and substrate preparation are essential.

How long does a shower renovation take?

A typical complete shower renovation takes around two to three weeks, allowing for preparation, waterproofing, curing, tiling, glazing and fit-off.

Can you install a frameless shower screen?

Yes. We can plan for frameless or semi-frameless glass, subject to the opening, layout and suitable fixing support.

Do you provide a fixed quote?

Yes. After assessing the shower and agreed selections, we provide a detailed fixed-price scope so you understand what is included.
